Laura Jones, LPC-A, Supervised by Lori Stelzer, LPC-S
As a therapist, I am passionate about creating a safe space for us to work collaboratively and to help you achieve meaningful and lasting change. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Lubbock Christian University and experience focusing on trauma-informed care, I take a strength-based approach to help individuals build resilience and develop coping strategies to overcome life's challenges. I believe in meeting each person where they are and working together to explore solutions that align with their values and goals. Whether addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, my aim is to empower you to harness your strengths and create positive change in your life.
As a veteran, I also bring a unique understanding of the challenges faced by those who have served and those currently in high-stress professions. In addition to my military background, I am actively involved in working with law enforcement, specializing in supporting first responders and those in similar high-pressure roles. This experience has deepened my ability to empathize with and address the specific mental health needs of this population, including trauma, stress, and work-life balance challenges. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space for those who serve and protect, helping them navigate the complexities of their personal and professional lives.
In addition to taking a solution focused approach, I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
If you are ready to take the first step toward healing and growth, I am here to support you on your journey. Together, we can explore your concerns, build on your strengths, and create a path forward that works for you.
She sees adults and her rate is $75 a session.
