Historic Downtown Mansfield Brewlet Moved to PTCC

Last night was pretty interesting. At 4:00am we got the call that the City of Mansfield was ready to deliver the Brewlet Parklet to Pine Trees Counseling via The Hope Place thanks to Dirty Job Brewing’s generous donation. Although, I’m sad to see Historic Downtown Mansfield without these adorable parklets, I’m honored that PTCC was chosen to continue operation of the Brewlet Parklet.

The pilot program for these parklets has expired, but the structure will continue to support the community through respite and mental health care. As we grow and develop, we intend to install a community garden in front of it to encourage mindfulness, support, and purpose in our community.

Pine Trees Counseling Center is a 501c3 Non Profit dedicated to providing trauma treatment to veterans, first responders, their families, and others in the Mansfield Community using modalities with lower drop out rates and higher outcomes. We aim to do more of what works and less of what doesn’t to keep trauma from influencing the next generation.

PTCC is also interviewing for additional board members in the Treasury and Secretary roles. If interested, please contact us through email at info@pinetreescounselingcenter.org.

The move was professionally and efficiently completed by the City of Mansfield, but there are some bumps and bruises that my husband and I will restore. Growth requires some bumps and bruises at times, and that’s perfectly fine with us. Thank you from everyone here at PTCC and The Hope Place to the City of Mansfield and Dirty Job Brewing. We hope to honor your donation admirably.
